Description: How can solar work in a region known for its rainy days? How much does it cost? What kind of roof do I need? What incentives are available to help me keep costs down? How do I work with a contractor? This workshop will help answer these questions and others as we discuss the following topics related to solar electric (PV) technology: site assessment and system design, choosing a solar contractor, installing a system, state and federal incentives, as well as maintenance and operation of your system. Participants will walk away with the knowledge they need to begin investing wisely in solar electricity.
